In recognition of being nominated as a Golden Spider Award finalist, Eirpharm.com, the Irish Pharmacy Web site, has updated its health tips section to include special advice for computer users on repetitive strain injuries (RSI). RSI costs US companies about USD20 billion per annum and accounts for 60 percent of all work-related injuries. Computer-users risk suffering RSI of the hand and wrist, neck and shoulder and are 9 times more likely to suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, which is due to compression one of the nerves as it passes through the wrist.
